They witnessed his first regeneration in The Tenth Planet (Classic Series Season 4) and Power of the Daleks (Classic Series Season 4).

Polly Wright Polly is a secretary from 1966. She and her friend Ben helped the first Doctor defeat a sentient computer in The War Machines (Classic Series Season 3).
