The London Eye is a massive ferris wheel^[1] in the heart of Central London, located across the River Thames from the Houses of Parliament.

History

When the Nestene Consciousness arrived on Earth after the destruction of its protein planets, it set up its base underneath the London Eye. It planned to use it as a transmitter, enabling it to control plastic across a much wider area than would otherwise be possible. However, the Nestene's scheme was foiled by the intervention of the ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler.^[2]
