History
The RMS Titanic was a cruise liner which set out on its maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City in 1912, having been publicised as "unsinkable". During that voyage, the ship struck an iceberg and sank.
Shortly before the voyage, the Daniels Family decided to abandon their planned trip on the Titanic shortly before it left port. Their decision may have been influenced by the ninth Doctor.[1]
Shortly before the ship sank, it was briefly visited by the seventh Doctor, Ace, and Benny, who were fighting an entity known as the Blue.[2]
The Doctor once claimed that he had been left hanging onto an iceberg after a voyage on an unsinkable ship.[3]
