Duration

This story takes place over the course of two days from Rose's perspective. However, there are a number of points when the Doctor could take solo trips in the TARDIS, so it could be considerably longer from his perspective.[3]

Death Count

There are only two actual characters who are seen to die. One is Clive, the other is The Nestene Consciousness. Although a number of Autons stop moving when the Nestene dies, they are not really living beings.

Mickey's Website gives the death toll from the Auton attacks as 78, and states that 300 people were wounded.

References

  1. The date is established from a poster seen in Aliens of London
  2. Although the Shadow Proclamation is later revealed to be an organisation, the mention of it here portrays it as a legal document or treaty.
  3. Those points being after Henrik's explodes, after retrieving the Auton arm from Rose, and between leaving Rose behind at the end and returning to tell her that the TARDIS is a time machine.
